Gaining awareness of your hidden beliefs is like shining a light in a dark room. And it’s the starting point to any change.
Ellen Degeneres explained it so well years ago, “It feels good. Kinda like when you have to shut your computer down, just sometimes when it goes crazy. you just shut it down and when you turn it on, it’s okay again. That’s what meditation is to me.” You don’t even have to be good at meditation or practice it for hours on end to reap it’s rewards.
Many people would never be caught saying corny words to themselves. But what’s really funny is that we talk to ourselves all day long. We have a running commentary in the back of our minds. And if you’re not as happy as you wish you were, then the words you’re saying to yourself are negative. We’ll clear up all the misconceptions about affirmations.
Our minds think in pictures. In fact, what is worry but scary images and scenes playing over and over again in the back of our minds. You can reverse this when you intentionally start creating beautiful, empowering new images.

We usually think of feelings as just reactions. He loves me, so I feel great; he left me, so I feel sad; it’s sunny out, so I feel cheery, etc. You’re going to learn that feelings are so much more than that. They’ll become the fuel you’ll use to propel your HAPPINESS.
